If so, here's April's theme:
Try a month without…screens at meals!
What do I mean? I mean any time you're eating, whether it's a meal with your family, or appetizers and drinks with your friends - put the screens away. Phone screens, tablet screens, laptop screens, tv screens - any screen that might occupy your attention during a meal.
Let's face it, we all know we'd be better off without screen time at meals. But if you're looking for a reason, here's just a few...
1) mindlessness leads to overeating
2) your phone screen isn't sanitary
3) tech-free meals make your kids happier and healthier
Note: all the harmful effects seem to be inherently based on the visual nature of the screens, so if you're itching to listen to your podcasts or audio books, go ahead.
So this April, let's have fewer meals like this...
